Empire BC/BS and breast pumps
we have Empire BC/BS for county employees and I am wondering if they will cover the breast pump for the twins??? Anyone have this ins and know for sure??

i have that ins and they covered mine. I got it at 14 weeks so dont even wait to call.
I went straight through Edgepark - just give them your ins info and dr info and they do the rest. Once they got everything it shipped within 2 days and i only paid a $23 copay for the Medela Freestyle

thanx! do I need a Rx? which Dr do I have them call just my Ob? I didn't realize I could get it before the babies were even born. That's great news!

I called Edgepark and gave them my insurance and OB info. They first call the insurance to find out how much is covered. Then they called me back to tell me and faxed my MD a letter that he needed to sign. As soon as they get the signature from the MD they ship it out.

You can set up an account online but you have to call to order the pump. They dont advertise the pumps online but they do carry the Medela Freestyle
