emotional about rescheduling appt
DH wants me to reschedule my appointment from tomorrow until next week, I have been so stressed out I just want to know everything is okay in there! I have lost 5 lbs since sandy just because I'm stressed!!! It's only our 12 week appointment so I know it's not a huge deal, but I just want to know I'm okay...What would you do?
ETA: I guess I should have mentioned why he wants me to reschedule. We lost two cars to sandy and he is now working 12 hour nights. I have been getting a ride to work and if I keep my appointment tomorrow I will need to drive his truck to work and then to the appointment and he can't come. So it's both because he wants to be there and because he doesn't want me taking his only form of transportation during the day.

Why does he want you to reschedule? Because of the conditions of the storm? I'd check first if your doctors office will be open or not tomorrow (plus how late) and how quickly they can fit you in for next week. I'm sure given the circumstances they'll try to squeeze you in.
Exactly how far along will you be tomororw? 12weeks exact? Have you had your NT Scan yet? I had my 12 week appointment when I was 12 weeks 3 days annd I didn't have my NT scan until 13 weeks 4 days so they did my 2nd blood work at my 16 week appointment (which was 16w4d). My 12 week appointment was pretty basic-HB; BP; urine & weight. So there wasn't any problem having my appointment later.
For just the 12 week appointment I'd call and see if they want you to reschedule because of the weather. I don't think it would be a big deal if you have to wait until next week. I wouldn't go out if the weather was really bad for such a quick appointment.

Sorry that you lost your cars! Personally there wasn't much going on at my 12 week appointment. It was literally a heartbeat check; urine; and blood pressure oh and the dreaded weight check. If he needs the car duing the day is here any guarantee that he'll be able to work something out so you have 2 cars next week and that he can come to that one too? I probbaly would just keep the appointment you have already; he won't be missing much.
I was also just thinking; is there anyway you can pick him up before your appointment if he really wants to be there?

i wouldnt reschedule, especially due to all the stress you've been undergoing. the big appointment that he should try to make is the anatomy scan.

I went ahead and moved it to monday when he is off form work. That way there is no issue. I know for a fact they do a sono, so he definitely wants to be there for that.
As for the "dreaded" weight check, I've lost 5 lbs this past week due to the storm, so I hope they don't yell at me for losing!!!
