Re: Electric Fireplace
We just got one on ebay. It's a Dimplex - works well, quiet, and keeps the room warm. We were limited by the size (wanted it to be the same size as our 46" LCD tv, to fit right underneath) and the color (darker - like espresso or walnut). We got a really good deal on it too (look for discontinued models to save money). I don't have a photo of it in our house and I can't find one online - sorry.

Re: Electric Fireplace
My parents have one - I think they got it at HD or Lowes...it does heat the room...but doesn't get hot, my son even knows how to turn it on.

Re: Electric Fireplace
Thanks for all the replies! I think maybe we will wait til the end of the season and get a deal since I dont have a place to put it now anyway.
We need to move the thermostat and buy a new TV before getting a fireplace but it takes me so long to find things I like so I figured I should start now!

Re: Electric Fireplace
How is everyone's electric bill with these? We had a space heater at one point and our Lipa bill was through the roof when we were using it
