Eggs - Yolks

Is it ok to eat runny yokes - like over easy eggs? (I always make sure the whites are cooked)

I know we are supposed to eat fully cooked foods - i.e. well done meat, etc.

And I know raw eggs are a no-no - i.e. homemade mayo, caesar dressing, cake batter, etc.

I have eaten a lot of these, is that bad?

I know this isn't the answer you want, but you should definitely avoid runny yolks and anything that isn't completely fully cooked.

i have eaten sunny side up eggs throughout my whole pregnancy (although to be fair, thats probably only 1 a month)

you will find many people who won't

its the same as with any other of the food no-no's.. some people chose to cut any of it out all together, some people are less strict about it.

don't beat yourself up about what you've already done, but talk to your dr about it and see what they say moving forward

I just got a huge do this and don't do this packet from my new doctor and eggs weren't mentioned but if you are nervous, just good a little bit more than you are used to.
