Eczema?
Any suggestions on what OTC creams or lotions I can use to alleviate eczema? Hyrdocortizone is out now that I am PG.
I have an appt with a dermatologist, but it is not until the 21st.

Re: Eczema?
My sister had really bad Eczema; she used Yardley Oatmeal soap and Eucerine (sp?) cream when she was pregnant. It didn't work as well as hydrocortizone, but it helped.

Re: Eczema?
I have eczeme and it has gotten worse since I've been pregnant. My skin is soooo dry! While you are waiting to get to the dermatologist, you might want to try Aveeno shower oil. I use it every day and it makes a HUGE difference for me. I also use Dove sensitive skin body wash. This combo seems to do the trick for me, or at least makes a really big improvement.
Good luck!

Re: Eczema?
I had it on my legs until 2 weeks ago. I got a simple recipe from a book called prescription for nutritional healing. Been wanting to post it. I cant believe its the only thing that works for me. Its a mixture of Olive oil, Aloe vera gel, Liquid Vitamin E and Liquid Vitamin A. I swear its amazing. My belly and legs were so dry and nothing worked but this. Not even expensive dermalogica from the spa. I will look for the exact measurements. I packed my book when starting the baby room

Re: Eczema?
I have psoriasis and am experiencing the worst flare-up of my adult life.
I am not allowed to take anything according to my obgyn and my dermatologist.
I apply baby oil to my scalp and affected areas to moisturize but that is about it.
It *****.

Re: Eczema?
Someone just posted this on Parenting the other day - and I actually just heard about it last week too.
Arbonne has a product that is supposedly amazing for eczema!

Thanks so much, ladies.
Liz, If you find the book, I would love the recipe.
