Re: Eco-friendly carpeting
Any company that installs Mohawk carpeting http://www.mohawkflooring.com/carpeting/ . I got my SmartStrand carpet through HomeDepot. Mohawk is a huge brand, so most installers will be able to use it, if not have it as one of their major brands.
SmartStrand is corn-based, so it has much lower VOCs, better for the environment, and doesn't need chemical stain resistance put on, since it is naturally stain resistant.

Thank you!
Also, maybe I'm just thinking of something else, but is there bamboo carpeting, too?

Apparently, there is: http://www.moso-bamboo.com/bamboo-carpet
However, it looks more like a mat than carpet. Sort of in between hardwood flooring and industrial carpet.
