Ebay Vent
Okay - so I am bidding on some Uggs on ebay and the person bidding against me has ZERO history.
Do you think it is the seller trying to UP her price???
Is there anything I can do about that?

Re: Ebay Vent
If it is, that is so stupid of them to do. Why wouldn't they just up the starting bid?

Re: Ebay Vent
Just know how much you are willing to spend. Period. I dont think theres much else you can do. Alot of new people do come on ebay around the holidays though bc all of a sudden they want an item, cant find it and hear about possibly finding it on ebay. I just had a friend call me the other day about ebay, a doll her daughter wants isnt sold in the stores anymore and someone told her to try ebay. I hate shady stuff like that, my BIL did it one time with his golf club biz and I read him the riot act. As a fellow ebay seller, I resent it bc it makes people suspicious of ebay -and its just a crappy thing to do.

Re: Ebay Vent
there are a lot of newbies on ebay around the holidays, dont' read into it too much, just go as high as you feel comfortable spending.
