eBay question for sellers
Would you sell an item ($200+) to a user who is international with no feedback (the user has no feedback... looks like a new eBayer)?
Just curious.

Re: eBay question for sellers
I personally wouldn't... I have something in my auctions that says if you have zero feedback, please don't bid... I've had WAY too many problems with them

Re: eBay question for sellers
nope - I don't ship International anyway...and I have a requirement where I won't accept bidders from outside the US, or non-paying bid alerts, and must have at least 1 positive feedback.

Re: eBay question for sellers
No. It sounds mean, but you will be charged too high a final sale fee to risk it.
Int'l transactions are pain to figure out shipping & deal with customs forms anyway!

Re: eBay question for sellers
Thanks for the feedback.
This person did not bid or BIN, but they did ask 2 questions - one that I did not understand due to the language barrier, and the other was about int'l shipping. Would it be wrong not to sell to this person even though I did not state anything about int'l shipping or zero feedback in my listing?

Re: eBay question for sellers
If you did end up selling to them, though, and they didn't pay you can put in a dispute and get your ebay fees back and relist the item.

Re: eBay question for sellers
I wouldn't but if you did - make sure you ship the package through a trackable service like DHL or the like. I wouldn't just bring it to the post office.

paypal will only cover you if you use DHL and get a signature on an item over $250
I am learning that the hard way now to the tune of $420
