Eating schedules-babies over 4-5 months

So my kids are 5 1/2 months and still waking up through the night. It HAS gotten better
Bed at 6:45(this is what time they're ready-I have tried changing it but they are cranky)
Dream feed at 10:30-11:30 usually
Feed between 3-4:30(AM)
Up for the day between 7-8

I have been writing down their schedules and noticed they are only getting between 21-26 oz before bed which is why I think they are waking up. So I want to know how you are getting 28-32 oz in your baby before bed. TIA

My DD eats still every 2.5 hours or so during the day - She is still on 4oz'ers because sometimes she finishes and wants more, sometimes she falls asleep and I waste a bunch, so I play it by ear...

So I'm guessing she gets around 30-32 oz during the day, but hasnt yet started cereal (this weekend) so I'm thinking that may affect her intake...

And if you see the post I just did, she STILL wakes 2-3 x at night Chat Icon

I did see your post-my kids are on cereal with fruit or veg as well. I just made them 8 oz bottles and they took 6.5 ozChat Icon

A lot of people I know said they had to CIO to get rid of that middle of the night btl. Their 6 mo appt is June 2nd so I am going to ask the ped what he thinks. I have also read to reduce the amt you are feeding them at night every couple of days or just offer water(this is obviouswly as long as she is getting enough during the day)Chat Icon

Re: Eating schedules-babies over 4-5 months

My DS usually only takes about 25 oz. a day and hasn't woken for a feed since 5 weeks. Our schedule is something like this......

7-8: 5 oz. bottle + cereal
11-12: 5/6 oz bottle
1:30 ish: cereal
2:30-3:30: 5/6 oz. bottle
6:30: 5 oz. bottle + cereal
9:30: 5/6 oz. bottle

He will never take more than 6 oz. We just started giving the afternoon cereal and will start veggies & fruits next week.

ETA: DS is 5 months

Re: Eating schedules-babies over 4-5 months

DS is 5 months old and our schedules are pretty similar. DS wakes up between 7 and 7:30 and I nurse him. He gets three 4.5-5 oz. bottles at daycare. He usually nurses again around 7 or 8 and falls asleep after that. Then he wakes up sometime between 11 and 1, then again sometime between 2 and 4 (usually up every 3 hours). When he wakes up at night, he usually only nurses for about 10 minutes and falls back asleep.

ETA: He's not eating any solids yet.
