Eating Corn...
My MIL told me that corn is not good for children's digestive systems. I tried looking it it up and cant find anything on this. Gianna LOVES corn and corn on the cob. Has anyone else heard that corn is not good for them?
TIA

I've never heard this. I've been giving Katherine the Gerber corn/sweet potato combo and she's been fine with it.

Re: Eating Corn...
only thing I've ever heard is that it doesn't necessarily have much nutritional value and it usually comes out the way it goes in.
DD eats the corn/sweet potato and the butternut squash/corn combos

Re: Eating Corn...
i read in the super baby fod book that corn shouldn't be given until 18 months...but I don't think that includes the pureed jarred versions.
When I give DS the freezed dried gerber graduates, I usually find full kernals in his diaper

Re: Eating Corn...
My sisters doctor said no corn unless it was pureed. My doctor has not said anything to me. I still give him jarred corn/sqaush combo. He doesn't like veggies unless they are jarred.

Re: Eating Corn...
I know they don't really digest corn (just check the diaper). I haven't heard it was bad for their system though.
