Easy to prepare recipes

I know there's a food and recipes section on here but as a mom who just went back to work i'm looking for recipes that i can prepare over the weekend and freeze. even crock-pot recipes would be helpful. anyone have any good recipes?!

Re: Easy to prepare recipes

I've never prepared these in advance and froze them but I LOVE this cookbook- The Six O'Clock Scramble. I actually posted about it on Parenting a couple weeks ago. So many great recipes in it and pretty much everything really takes under a half hour to make!

Re: Easy to prepare recipes

good to know. for those of you that like chicken burgers, this is the easiest recipe and actually tastes better when it's baked instead of grilled. i usually make them over the weekend and freeze them into individual burgers. just defrost in the morning and bake when you get home from work.

1 lb ground chicken
1 egg white
1 can tomato paste
bread crumbs
garlic powder
salt
pepper
chopped basil

Mix all in a bowl and freeze into patties. go heavy on the garlic powder. it's delish! bake at 450 until brown. flip after about 15-20 minutes so it cooks and browns evenly. i eat it without a bun---extra healthy!
