Easter baskets/presents
I pretty much know what I'm doing for Marron's basket for Easter -- nothing that won't fit in the basket, other than 1 toy bunny that hops.
But for nieces and nephews, I bought SMALL tin baskets at the dollar spot in Target and was going to fill them with a couple of little toys & candy pieces. Does this seem cheap? Should I be doing/making something more? I guess I'm a little worried that I'll be embarassed if my relatives get Marron something much bigger or more elaborate.
What is everybody else doing?

no its Easter not xmas... small bubbles some candy and all that is fiine... bty...where did u get the hopping bunny?
edited to add---avoid the issue--call ahead and say--lets not turn this into xmas---lets just do small things if anything===and not lose the meaning if you set a limit it eliminates stress off them too

Re: Easter baskets/presents
I always buy things on the smaller side - coloring books, bubbles, books, candy, etc. I like to add one bigger item - but nothing too crazy. I don't think it is Christmas and try not to turn it into Christmas.
For my goddaughters (ages 1.5 and 2.5) - this year I got them an easter lollipop, a new big bath towel, a book, sunglasses and some easter playdoh to put in an easter pail I bought at the drug store. I wanted to add something chocolate but haven't bought it yet.

I got it from KB Toys, at the Tanger Outlets. They probably have it at the regular KB as well.

Re: Easter baskets/presents
I've never made a basket for nieces or nephews so it sounds generous to me.
I don't expect Ale will be getting baskets from aunts & unles either - although one aunt did get her a basket. She doesn't have kids.
