Early Intervention-Speech
Just wondering if anyone has had their little ones in early intervention for speech. My son started at 19.5 months. I'm just waiting for the day he speaks without being prompted. It breaks my heart...and I'm wondering how long it typically takes? If you've experienced this, when did you start seeing improvements?

Early Intervention-Speech
I have twin boys that are 20M on 6.28; I have one talker & my Twin A is in Speech since 15M. We qualifed because already in system & he is starting to talk off now. He can say about 20-30 words. Your son will get there..hang in there.

Early Intervention-Speech
My son is 21 months (18 months adjusted). We started speech about a month ago. He has no words. Just babble. I'm waiting for the day he says mama.

It will come!!!! DS was 22 months old when he started speech.. He had 10 words. Within 6 months his vocabulary was way up. It took a few months for him to be able to tell me what he wanted aside from signing.. I am not sure how many words he had by then. He is now 3.5 years old and he is a CHATTERBOX!!!!!! It seems like a long time but it will happen!!!!
