Ear infection

How long did it take your little one to feel better once they started antibiotics? DS had his first dose this am and he is miserable. Chat Icon

Re: Ear infection

I should add, my ped suggested giving him Motrin in between just to help ease the pain for him.

Thanks. I've been piggybacking ibuprophen and tylenol. At first, I just thought it was a virus causing a fever, but then this am he started tugging on his ear. :(

When she was on amox, she seemed noticeably better within 24 hours. She ended up with a reaction to it so next time she was put on Zithromax and it was probably about 2 days in when she was noticeably better.

He no longer has a fever but is definitely still a little fussy. As of now, he's still just nursing like crazy and not eating too many solids. Last night, he slept better which I think is a step in the right direction. Tomorrow we are going to try to see how daycare goes...

Thanks for thinking about him!
