Ear infection
is it possible to have a double ear infection, be on antibiotics for 3 days, (still having a cold with a runny nose and cough) and wake up one morning and ears to still hurt?
I've had 1 ear infection in my life so I am clueless. My son is complaining his ears hurt. I dont know if it's pain or if they are clogged.

Yes...sometimes it can take several days for your ears to clear up and even then they can still hurt b/c they have to drain. That is why when you take antibiotics for ear infections it is usually for 10 days. Give him some tylenol or motrin to help with the pain. I also wouldnt get water in his ears when he showers or takes a bath.
