E-bay question...
When people "watch" your auction, are they typically waiting until the last days to bid?
I have a lot of watchers and no bidders. In your experience, do watchers typically turn into bidders?

there is no ryhme or reason- a watcher could be a last minute bidder, or just someone selling a similar item
I had a bunch of items ending last night
1 had 10 wacthers- didn't sell
2 other ones had 10 wacthers and got bid up
1 had 12- didn't sell
1 had 6- sold
but watchers are better then no watchers

I have 2 watchers right now who have been watching from the moment I put the item up. Whether they buy, who knows, but at least someone is looking.

I had something in Ebay last week that had NO bids but 27 watchers! In the end I sold the item for WAY more than I ever would have expected, and the buyer came to pick it up! Hooray!!

I have tried to figure out ebay so many times- if anyone has figured it out- let me know- b/c from what I can tell- it really makes no sense
some people bid when they see the item
some people bid at the last second
some people prefer to buy it now (my favorite)
but overall- it makes no sense to me

as a seller, the watchers drive me nuts, but at least it shows intrest.
now as a buyer, I usually only watch an item when I'm unsure if I really want it or not.
