I love my Dyson too unless you have any decorative rugs like an oriental rug... you cant use the Dyson Animal on them.

I love my Dyson, I have the upright and got the little handheld one for my Birthday (sad) They are both great for pet hair.

Every vacuum review I've read, including Consumer Reports says that although the Dysons are good, there are vacuums that are much better for half the price.

iv'e read a LOT of reviews, and htink I will give the Bissell Healthy Home a try, if I don't think it does the job, I'll go with Dyson I htink.

I'm asking for a dyson from Santa this year. I have a hoover, which we registered for. I was so scared of registrying for such an expensive vacumm, I didn't put the dyson on there. After seeing my mom's, I want one. SO hopefully Santa, ie DH, will get me one.
