Other than Dutch Wonderland what else is there?

We did kitchen kettle village- cute shops, food and they had a little petting zoo too. (I don't believe they are open on Sunday's)
We took a horse and buggy ride- we did Abe's buggy rides with a suggestion from here. It was a long wait, but they have a small swing set while you wait.
This year we are planning on the hands on house so far

Food: Amish smorgasbords would be Shady Maple and Millers. Both are great for breakfast and dinner. If you want family style, there are Good n Plenty or Plain n Fancy. Oregon Dairy is OK- restaurant wise and they have a cute little playground area and an ice cream shop.
Activities for kids: Cherry Crest Farms, Strasburg RR, Kitchen Kettle Village ( small shops and a small petting zoo/ playground. Lil country store and miniature horse farm - we went here its literally in someones house basically but they have cheap pony rides for the kids. There are a couple of Mini golf places, Hayloft Candles has a small petting zoo. There is also the Turkey Hill Factory, William Sturgis pretzel factory

We went to the Straudsburg RR and rode the Thomas Train. We paid over $100 for 4 tickets and the ride itself was really really really quick. The place is really nice but we wouldn't do that again!

Did you do the turkey hill tour? Is The tour good for an almost 3 year old? Or would it be a waste? And does it really take 1-2 hours?

We just came back and I was disappointed with everything personally.
I thought Turkey Hill was a waste of time and not good for a 3 year old. My kids had fun, but they have fun anywhere (especially when there is ice cream involved!).
Thomas was a big waste of money IMO. DD hated the train since there were tons of flies flying around. The train ride was super short (luckily for DD) and you only saw that is was Thomas when you got off and took a picture. There was not much else to do there.
Kitchen Kettle was not my cup of tea - I don't personally like those types of shops. The only thing we bought there was ice cream, and that was really good. There is a small park and petting zoo there the kids liked.
The Julius Sturgis pretzel factory was a one room, non-operational pretzel factory. The "tour" was 30 minutes and was literally just one room. The kids were bored.

There is no tour - you just go in and walk around. It's unlimited ice cream and teas/lemonade. Otherwise, there is a pretend cow you can "milk", a small ball pit, and a few computers to create your own (pretend) flavor and commercial. All my kids wanted to do was eat ice cream and play in the ball pit.

This is why when we go we do the hotel water area one day and Dutch the next and go home the next morning.
2 nights.
I have no desire to hang around Lancaster. Nothing else there interests me

Same thing. Except probably no museum. Going up Friday afternoon. Coming home Sunday. Staying at Eden. Dutch wonderland and plain n fancy are on our list. That's about it. Wil stop at crayola factory on the way home.

Going next weekend and booked a farm tour where kids can feed animals etc at Verdant View Farm. Tickets were cheap and kids under 3 are free...here is the description-
Farmer's Apprentice
Additional information
The farmer's apprentice gets to help feed the animals. Participants get hands-on experience during the guided excursion. Milk a cow, bottle feed baby calves, scoop feed into buckets, throw hay or bedding to the cows, give water to the goats, and venture inside the chicken coop.
Plus join a 20-minute tractor and wagon ride through the farm fields and learn more about Amish and "English" farming practices.
What's Included:
Farm tour
Wagon ride
Experiential learning for participants of all ages

That's what we do as well. I was thoroughly disappointed in Thomas - for the money, and the hype, I was expecting more.
