Dutch Wonderland - what age?

My DS will be 2 in September. I was hoping to take him somewhere over the summer -- be it Dutch Wonderland or Sesame Place. Is the age appropriate or should I wait until next summer when he is almost 3?

We took DD at 2 and while she liked DW, she got SO much more out of it at 3 and 4.
However, she was a difficult 2 year old and afraid of everything at that age. She wouldn't go on any of the rides except the train with us and the carousel and even that she started screaming on.

It really depends on your child though.

DW is definitely age appropriate for a 2 year old. But they will have more rides they can go on at 3 and 4.

Dutch Wonderland - what age?

We went in the fall (dutch wonderland) DD was 22 months at the time. She really enjoyed it. There were a lot of rides she couldn't do because she was too little but there was plenty she liked. We wanted to go because it was our last time to take her to do something with just DH and I before the new baby was born.

We first took DD at 16 months. There was actually a decent amount that she could do there and she had a great time. We wanted to get away for a few days and felt it was perfect. We also spent some time in Lancaster, I think we stayed for 3 days.

We took DD to Dutch Wonderland when she was 27 months old. She absolutely loved it! I can't speak for Sesame Place because we've never been.

I also want to add that if you stay at Eden Resort, you can make a full day out of the kids spray/pool area.
My DD LOVED that at 2 years old.

And DW has their own water area with a nice little section for the little ones too.

We went when DD was 26 months we had a blast!!! Even lengthened our stay for 1 night while we were there. Absolutely stay at Eden Resort.

You can order drinks and food right by the pool

We went this fall a month before his 4th birthday and he had a fantastic time!

We took DS for his 2nd birthday and he LOVED it. The only thing I would say is to be very careful at the water park. They don't separate the little kid area from the bigger kid area and my DS ended up with stitches after running over to one of the bigger kid area water toys.

ETA: We also stayed at the Eden Resort and I highly recommend it!!

Another vote for DW and Eden resort! We went when dd was 22 months and it was great! Hoping to go back this summer!
