Dumb question
So i know they say to stay away from lunch meat, but I was wondering, the kind they slice for you at the deli....Is that considered lunch meat? It seems like it is different than the prepackaged kind....anyone know if theres a difference??

I think (and this is just me) that it is OK if it is from a reputable & clean deli with a quick overturn. I tried to find a recent post about this, but I cannot find it.

For what its worth I have also had a disappointing craving today...the nugget wanted buffalo wings w/ Bleu cheese.....big no-no

Everything in moderation!!! I ate deli meats, hot dogs, caffiene, dr ok'd it as long as i didn't eat it everyday, all day for months.
I refused, and still do, to make myself feel deprived

I say u can eat deli meat sometime. Eveyrthing in moderation. Its not going to kill you or the baby to eat it once. I have eaten it like once since i have been pregnant.

I have had deli turkey on several occasions. My friend owns a deli and I know it is reputable. I've had hot dogs on a few occassions as well. It's just not something you should eat everyday.

I heard the same thing and I have eaten ham & swiss sandwiches at least a dozen times. I think I am having a hot dog tonight. I just make sure I cook it real good!
