And im almost embarassed to be asking this.......
for Pre-K, you have to be 3, right? Or be 3 by a certain time to start?

"nursery school" is also sometimes referred to as "preschool"

dumb question
Local nursery/preschools usually go by the cut off date the school district they are in uses (most are December 1, some are December 15)
So if your dc turns 3 by December 1, 2012 they are eligible for nursery/pre school now.
