Dumb music question
I'm not up to date with technology and obtaining music. How do people make a compilation of songs to give as a gift to someone? It used to be CDs from downloaded music. What do people do now that most people listen to music on their smartphones/tablets etc.

You can gift a playlist on Amazon, but if you or the receiver are on iTunes and updated to iTunes 11, you no longer can, Which sucks!
You can still burn it to CD and they can import those songs though, if you want.
