If you haven't had your period yet after having a baby , can you get pregnant?

not dumb at all and yes you can.. It can take a few months to get AF back and you never know when she will show her ugly face so within that time you just may ovulate and catch that lucky egg.. perfect example: irish twins..

YES but it also depends on if you're EBF. My OB told me that BFing is 97% effective against pregnancy for the first 6 months after giving birth. Some women will ovulate sooner, but about 6 mo is the average. I got my AF back 8mo pp. I've always known when I ovulated and I didn't feel ovulation symptoms until AFTER AF came back. It was almost like a warning sign!
