due date question?
At your first doctor appointment, mine will be at 8 weeks, do they give you an estimated due date based on what they see from the sonogram or do they still go by your last period???

They adjust it according to your sonogram (based on what the baby is measuring).

Do you know you'll have an early sonogram? Not everyone does. If your cycles are regular they will generally go by your last period.

Mine went by my last period and at every sonogram I have measured a week ahead and they have never changed my EDD.

Same here. My doctor said she only changes the due date when the 2 dates are off by a lot.

my doctor goes by your last period unless there is a significant difference.

Mine was changed based on the first sono - they said they usually don't change unless the difference is a week or more
