DS sounds hoarse - 5 weeks old
Should I be worried? Maybe it's from crying????

id take him to the ped just to be safe... he is so young.. good luck, i hope its nothing

That happened to DD at around that age. She was sort of raspy sounding when she cried. I called the ped and they said unless she was acting sick, had a fever, wasn't eating, etc. then she was probably fine. It went away in about a week.

DD had a very raspy voice until she was about 6 weeks old. Nothing to worry about imo.

Thanks ladies! It's just really scary - especially because I'm alone with him tonight because DH is working  . I don't think I'll be able to sleep!
He doesn't have a fever so that is a good sign!
