DS is starting to walk like a duck

with his feet turned outward, he's getting better and better at walking - running even, but his feet still stay turned out

DH walks a little this way too, and I always wondering why his mommy didn't fix it

Am I crazy for wanting to fix it?
I'm in the belief that everyone should walk with toes pointed straight ahead.

DS's right foot turned out like a penguin when he first started walking. My mother was making me nuts about it telling me it was a problem and she was concern blah blah blah so I took him to the pediatrician. She told me that he is just starting to walk and not to be too concerned because it would most likely correct itself. It has since gotten a lot better as he has gotten steadier on his feet.

My friends daughter was like that. She is 2 now and it is bad. It is preventing her from running properly. The dad is the same way. If there is something that can be done, I would do it now before he gets older.
