DS is not interested in bfing anymore
Now that milk finally came back DS doesn't want to BF. When we trying is goes on and off a ton of times and looks around at everything. I pump and give him bm in the bottle. Any suggestions how to get him to BF again.

Don't give up! It's not that he doesn't want to, it's a very distracting age. I got alot of great information on this from kellymom. DD is doing it too, especially when someone is around and especially on my left side. Just stick with it! There is just so much that he wants to take in right now but he I'm sure he still wants to BF.

Have you tried BFing in a dark quiet place? Since he was 4 months, my DS has become a very distractable nurser. I usually BF him lying down on my bed with the lights off when I'm home. If I'm at someone else's house, I have to leave the room. Otherwise, every time someone says something, he pulls off and looks around.

How long were you away from BFing? It's also possible that your DS developed a bottle preference.

Thanks. I never really stopped I just had a supply issue. I got the flu and AF at the same time and my supply dropped. I pumped like crazy to get it back and it came back. I work overnights on weekends so DS gets a lot of bottles because I sleep the next day. Maybe he does have a preference now but I will keep trying. Thanks for the articles. I will read up.
