DS has RSV
We took him to the ER on Christmas morning and he was admitted after testing positive for RSV. Symptoms were that of a regular cold, (in fact I took him to the Ped on Sat. and thats' what they told me!!) but he got progressively worse Christmas Eve with a fever, cough, could NOT sleep AT ALL w/all the congestion, etc. We spent 3 days in the hospital and he is home now on nebulizer treatments and doing better. schedule is shot to hell and mommy is exhausted. But baby is better and home and we are so thankful he is Ok. I hope all the sick little ones are feeling better SOON!!!!!!! It's so true, trust your instincts...I knew this was more than a cold and unfortnatley I was right

same thing happened to my dd when she was 2 months old. i took her to the doctor and they told me "she has a bad cold" well i knew it was something more, she ended up in the hopsital for one week with RSV. they sent her home with treatments as well and after that she was 100% again. to both of you, it will pass quickly now that he had the required treatment. excellant call mommy.
