DS has his first virus
Poor little guy is coughing, sneezing and running a low fever. Dr said no strep and no flu, luckily. Im praying it doesnt become anything more than a cold. Any tips for keeping him comfortable. Tylenol is breaking the fever but the nasal drip seems to be upsetting him the most. Breaks my heart to see :( TIA

How old is he? I always find that a smidge of Benadryl helps my LOs sleep better when they're sick... I know DS was approved by the Ped to have Benadryl from 9m on....

Agreed. Our doc said the same - dries up all that gunk!

DS has his first virus
Put a tiny rolled up towel under his mattress to elevate him slightly. Humidifier all night long. I do nasal spray and then the Frieda nose sucker to keep the sinus' clear. Also depending on the age I've used hylands cough syrup or chestal. Not sure it really works but I think during a coughing fit at night it can help coat the throat a bit and ease it.

DS has his first virus
Saline spray, suction nose, cool mist humdifier, baby rub on chest and back. Tylenol for fever. Hope he feels better soon!
