What do you use on your DC's scalp when its really dry and flaky? She's only 5 weeks old...

Re: Dry Scalp

DD had that - it sort of just went away on its own after a few months. I dont think theres anything special the dr recommends you using..but you could call them and ask.

Re: Dry Scalp

My dd is almost 2 and on her we use California Baby shampoo, It is for extra sensitive skin, and it seems to be working pretty well, although it costs 8.99 for a bottle.

Re: Dry Scalp

honestly i thought my dd's would go away after a couple of months..she still had it after like 6 months.OOPS.my MIL told me to use baby oil and a baby comb..and gently scrape it off..it totally worked..GONE..it was gross watching all the dead skin on the comb...but def try it..i waited too long thinking it would go away on its own..HTH!!

*also some dr.s say to use head and shoulders but i was afraid the soap would get in my dd's eyes..
