Dry cleaning?

When you bring your dry cleaning home do you keep the plastic on it? I always take the plastic off but now I noticed that when I don't wear somthing for awhile it gets dusty on the shoulders.

I always think of them as toxic shields of poison, so I discard it ASAP.

But maybe I'm nuts. I read a few times how bad they are, so it always stuck with me.

You can buy those garment bags to hold your items and hang it in your closet.

I usually leave the plastic on until I wear it. Especially if it's something that i won't be wearing for a long time, to keep the dust off.

Usually take the plastic off right away and re-hang on my own hangers. I have heard that the plastic keeps the toxins in and also that it can trap any moisture that might be in there

I take it off. I noticed that if I do not wear the garment right away and the plastic is left on, I hate the way the garment smells. Also, the plastic is so unsafe if a small child or my dog were to get into my closet or near the clothes. I usually hang the item on a hook when I come into the house and I get rid of the plastic ASAP.
