Dry / flaky skin on a newborn...what baby products to use?

My DS is 5 weeks and has very dry / flaky skin all over his body. What are the best baby products to use? Especially during bath time? Is it considered cradle cap if his head is flaky?

DS is 12 weeks and has VERY dry skin. At his 3 month checkup I asked Dr about it and she said because he also had tiny red bumps that he has mild eczema. She told us to use Cetaphil for eczema. It's new. DS reacts great to it. We'll see if it clears up his skin. I don't put it on his face though. I just use the regular pink JOhnson and Johnson baby lotion. As for his head (cradle cap) I put baby oil and rub it in every night. It was amazing for him.

I use green baby lotion potion on my 3 month old, have been using it for a couple of months. For her cradle cap, I use olive oil, and remove the flakes with a toothbrush.

Ds1 has eczema so all we used and use on him is plain vaseline so we use the same with DS 2(he's 6 weeks )

I used organic grapes oil that I picked up from the oil section of stop and shop. It very low allergy.

Aquaphor at that age. After 6 mos I used Apricot Oil from Burt's Bees baby line. (Burt's bees has since been bought by Clorox, so I am not sure if the formula changed)
