*Drumroll please* Total amount gained in 4 weeks is...
8 LBS!!!!!!!
Maybe it was the muffins and cookies?? Or maybe the french fries I eat almost daily? How about the pizza and chips and sandwiches??
I just CAN'T pinpoint why I would gain that much weight in such a short amount of time. GRRRRRRRRRRR
So as of almost 24 weeks, i'm up 12 lbs. Which isn't a lot I know, but I went from gaining 4lbs in 20 weeks to 8lbs in just 4 more lol
But is doing just fine and I received all of the hospital registration info and class info etc. Things are moving right along

Dont feel so bad. Im 24 weeks also and so far Im up 15 lbs. My last visit was 1 week ago, and from the 5 weeks before that I gained 7 lbs. I was in shock but Dr is not concerned, so why should I be, right?

That's true. He did say "You had to gain weight sometime right?" Then he giggled. I feel better now but the initial shock of that number was depressing.

I had to move the bigger bar on the scale to the 150 last week at the gym That was the most depressing moment for me. I only had to move the little slider a wee bit but it was still a little jarring.
When I was losing weight, it was a huge milestone for me to be able to have the big bar on the 100 and now it's right back to the 150!

The scale is the WORST part of the Dr appointments. At almost 32 weeks I am up about 27 pounds. Very depressing. But...it could be alot worse. I know people who have gained 60-70 lbs!!!
But we all need to keep in mind that alot of that weight will be lost when the baby is born and then we just have to work it!!!!!!

Re: *Drumroll please* Total amount gained in 4 weeks is...
I have anxiety when i know i have to step on the scale at the dr. I dont even look, i figure if the dr is concerned with how much i'm gaining he'll let me know. I'm just too mental about this stuff and it will bother me way too much, especially when there's nothing i can do about it for now

OMG this makes me sooo anxious for my next appointment. I am petrified to see what I've gained. Glad to hear baby girl is doing well.
