Driving with Dog

i just went to pick up lunch, the whole time i'm stuck behind this car going very slow, making very sloppy turns and just overall bad driving. I finally get to pull up next to the person, expecting them to be either old or on the phone. Nope, they've got a dog jumping around on their lap.
That should be illegal

Re: Driving with Dog

That's very dangerous. Dogs that aren't secure in a car are such a hazzard. FH works in insurance and there have been times when people call in to file a claim for an accident and they had to report injuries (even deaths) that occured due to the accident, and it wasn't the force of the car hitting something else, it was the force of the dog that wasn't buckled down hitting the driver or another passanger that caused the injury or death. Very sad...

Re: Driving with Dog

I am not against having your dog in the car with you but the dog should not be jumping all over the place, esp on the drivers lap!!!

Re: Driving with Dog

That's so dangerous, I hate to see that!!!! Dogs should either be in a crate, or at least restricted to the backseat when in a moving vehicle.

Re: Driving with Dog

Dogs should be in a crate or secured with a doggie harness and seatbelt. Too dangerous for people AND the dog otherwise.

What are people thinking?
