I am guessing you mean vaginally....and I drove the next day. I had to bring my baby home from the hospital, the second time around took me atleast a week to be able to drive. But I had a worse birth the 2nd time around.

c-section; I was told no driving for a week. I couldn't for awhile b/c the seatbelt sat right on my incision and it bothered me.

with my second, i drove her to her first dr. appointment...so 3 days old or so? dr. thought i was nuts! i felt good!

I felt ok to drive pretty quickly. Like 3 days I could have and by 7 I was totally 100% back to normall. V birth.

The day I got home from the hospital I went to the grocery store.
No one ever told me that I couldn't/shouldn't and I felt fine.

vaginal delivery...i drove about a week after, but that is only because we were in the hospital for 5 days after she was born. could have driven any time.

I had c-section's
My first one ~ I had to be ok's by my dr (at the 4 week mark to get the ok to drive)
My second child ~ different Dr ~ I was told after two weeks I could start driving.

Had her vaginaly on Tuesday afteroon- drove on Saturday morning.
The only thing that was uncomfy was getting up into the SUV.
But I had very minmal tearing and only a few stitches so I was feeling great pretty quickly.
