Drinking water before 3 hour?
Im doing my 3 hour today (way early but since I had GD last time they want to check me early) I havent eaten since dinner last night but can I have some water now, an hour or so before I go? Or is it supposed to be absolutely nothing at all?

I had my 1 hour last week and it was nothing at all (including water) until I take the exam. Is the 3 hour with the juice looking thing as well?

How early are you?
My doctor told me that even though I had GD with my first pregnancy that he wouldn't test me still until 24 weeks, because before then the placenta doesn't always interfere with your absorbtion of sugars? So he said it wouldn't be accurate for GD?
I am 20 weeks and would love to just get the test over with!

Im 9 weeks. Im pretty sure its the 3 hour Im doing today. On my paperwork for the lab they highlighted the glucose (fasting) one instead of the glucose 1 hour option. Maybe they're just looking to see if Im really high already?

The lab I went to let me take sips of water during the test during the 3 hour. Not sure about before though.

Was told for my 1 hour (so not sure if this applies to the 3 hour as well) that i had to fast from midnight the night before and they only water i could have was while brushing my teeth.

Ok so it turns out that it wasn't either glucose tests. They just did bloodwork and are checking my current glucose levels to see where I stand.
