drinking the bottle fast

How long does it take for your DC to drink a bottle? It always took DS a fair amount of time some of which he never finished. This morning I switched to the stage 3 Dr. Brown’s bottle nipple (for 6+ months) and he downed the bottle. And it was actually a half an ounce more then I usually give him. Is there such a thing as drinking the bottle too fast or it doesn’t matter?

When I first switched to the fast flow nipples, Steven was eating much more. Then he would spit it up. Once he got used to the flow, he was back to normal. maybe up 1/2 oz or so.
