Dried Beans
What am I doing wrong? They NEVER get soft...yesterday I followed a recipe from Food Network Mag and slow cooked beans for 6 hours, they still aren't soft!
Other times I have soaked overnight or boiled and then let sit for an hour, still hard...
Any tips?

Re: Dried Beans
What kind of beans are you making? When I cook lentils, I do 1 part beans to 2 parts water and cook them for an hour on the stove.

Re: Dried Beans
I last tried dried pinto beans. In the past I have tried dried navy beans and the mixed bag from Goya.
I stink at beans!
