Re: Dressing for pasta salad?
As random as it seems, I prefer plain old Italian dressing. I have made my own, but think that premade is so good. Sometimes I use Greek dressing or good seasons mix to change it up. I even like Caesar dressing when I add chicken to the salad.

Re: Dressing for pasta salad?
I made mac salad for the first time this past Memorial day and added fat free italian and fat free caesar (1/4 the amount of caesar to italian)....everyone said it came out great (I guess it did since I made 5 pounds of pasta and most of it went LOL) The only thing I did add in was black olives....

Re: Dressing for pasta salad?
If I want a more traditional/creamy dressing I whisk 1 cup of mayo, 1/4 cup of vinegar, juice of a lemon, salt, pepper, fresh parsley, fresh dill. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

Re: Dressing for pasta salad?
I like to make my own balsamic dressing. I start with the vinegar and drop a bit of splenda to melt into it then add a little olive oil, basil, and dill. Cube up some mozzarella & tomato in your mix...Delish!!!
