Dressers/Changing Table

Does the dresser have to be built to be a changing table or can you put a changing pad on any dresser? If you do will it move around?

Re: Dressers/Changing Table

We put one of those pads on the dresser and it gets secured on the back.

Same here except we didn't secure it since we have a hutch on top of it.

I want to get a changing table w/ a hutch on top of it. Is there enough room to change the baby when he/she gets older?

Here is a pic of my hutch/changing dresser

External Image

DD is 11.5 months old and I still use it.

I can't secure it with the tabs on the back of the pad cause 1-i refuse to put a hole in $$$ furniture 2-there's no place to really attach it.

When DD's outgrows it totally, including #2, that big space in between the shelf and pad, there's another shelf that goes there.

My Furn is Legacy.

There are 2 tabs on the back of the changing pad, it comes with nails too, that you put them down and nail them to the back of the back of the dresser.
