Dress Shopping for New Years....
It's that time that I need to get a new dress for New Year's Eve (which is black tie). Since I have lost so much weight I've given away all of my gowns that I had..leaving me with nada!
I didn't want to keep them because having them altered would have most likely cost me as much as a new gown.
Anyhow I'd like to know of any dress stores (I know about Estelle's for instance) that would carry really nice plus size gowns that won't look old-ladyish on me. I want to start looking this weekend so I can have something ordered and still get it in time if necessary.
The budget is no more than $150.00 though....any suggestions where to look?
I live in Lynbrook but I'm willing to get any suggestions.
TIA!

Totally You in Bellmore? My mom got her MOB dress from there from the under $200 rack and it was gorgeous and not even a little old lady-ish. Here's my momma!

Really love some of those but a bit out of my price range. Good ideas though.
