We stayed at Dreams in Cabo. The resort was 5* and all the restaurants were excellent. I say you can't go wrong with Dreams.

Last year we stayed at Dream - Riviera Maya with our then 3 year old twins! We all had a blast. As the OP said, you can't go wrong with Dreams.

We used the kids club a few nights so we could haved dinner. The staff there was awesome!
