DR with 2 small kids?
A friend is having one of those destination weddings in the Dominican Republic in April 2010. Joey will be 23 months, Grace 10 months. DH thinks it will be too much and I should tell her we can't make it. But she is a very good friend of mine, and I would feel terrible if I didn't go. Should we go as a family, not go at all, or should I go alone and leave hubby with the kids for 4 days? Anyone been on a vacation with 2 under 2?

Never been away with 2 under 2. If going is important to you, I would leave the kids with your family or DHs or split the time btwn both, if they didnt mind. It would be a great little trip for you and dh to reconnect with out the kiddies.

I went to Aruba with a 2 yr old, and a 4 month old. Also just got back from Italy - they're now 10 months, and almost 3 yrs.
It can be done.
