Dr Steven Cohen?
Anyone go to him? I'm looking for someone affialiated with LIJ. Hes in a group, so do you see all the docs or just him? Does he have night or weekend hours?
Any reviews/advice greatly appreciated! TIA

im pretty sure he was one of the on call doctors that did my c-section with dr. scarantino. if its the same dr., i remember him being very nice and easy on the eyes!!

Lol!! I dont think theyre in the same practice though. And oddly enough, i was looking on my insurance website and cohen and goldstein had the same address...?

He's my Dr. I switched to him when I was around 30 weeks pregnant, and he was amazing with everything. My son was born via c-section and he did a great job. I'd recommend him.
Sorry, I didn't reply to the whole thing... he has night hours 1 or 2 nights a week, I think. He also has two offices - one in Little Neck and one in Woodbury. I'm not sure about weekend hours. He was also really great about returning calls.
ETA: I only saw him, but I switched late in the pregnancy so I'm not sure what the standard practice is.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE him. As PP said....he is easy on the eyes. Total crush....which is weird.
Been going to him since I started going to the GYN. Saw him throughout my pregnancy.
He is very down to earth and low key. He isn't an alarmist and is very relaxed. It made me less anxious during my pregnancy.
He has good hours, 2 offices, really great office staff.
The only thing that I wasn't thrilled with is that he is the only OB in his office, so if he isn't working or on call you won't have him or his partners in the delivery room. I ended up with someone else....she was great, but it wasn't him.
I recommend him to everyone!

def different practices same on call group as goldstein and scarantino. my DH said he was funny too ( i dont remember cause i was heavily medicated).
goldstein is in a medical building on northern. not sure about cohen but it wouldnt be totally unusual if they were in the same building.
