dr recommendation pls-

Hey all- after having my munchkins I've got both umbilical hernia and diastasis recti. My OB referred me to a surgeon who specializes in hernias but is there anyone out there that handles both issues?

I hope to not need surgery and that I can make this mushy tummy go away with exercise but I obv need medical clearance

Just wondering if you guys know of anyone who deals with both issues

I think any surgeon could fix both.

When I had my gallbladder removed the general surgeon who did it found an umbilical hernia that I didn't even know I had while he was doing the surgery.
So he fixed it right then and there.

No recs but the Umbilical hernia won't go away. everyone I know who has had one needed surgery. I would speak to the surgeon.

Yeah I know the hernia won't go away without surgery

I guess I just want to know if mine will get worse or cause further complications if I don't have the surgery to get it fixed

Plus I know that the DR plus hernia limits me on what i can do exercise wise...
