Dr. John Zaso
This is our Ped. I was just curious if anyone else uses him? I was talking to DH last night and he said that he finds it hard to believe that nobody else on this site uses him, so I got curious.

I use him and will use him for second DS. I think there are actually a lot of parents on this site that use him. I remember people asking for recommendations (several times) and he was referred by them (as well as by me). I love him.
I know there are also a lot of parents from Sulfolk (or so it seems) on this site which can make a difference as well.

He was the attending Ped when we delivered DD#1 and her Ped until he branched out on his own from BHP. Amazing gentle giant I call him.

Yes he was one of my clients when he still worked a BHP. He is the gentle giant!!!

I would have liked to have used him but he was notlisted on my health insurance site. we have family that use him and love him.
ETA: Hmmmm...actually it's either the insurance or that he doesn't have rights to LIJ.

LOVEEEEEEEEEEE him!! He's a Chaminade boy so that makes him especially dear to me.
And he is so involved in the community.
Someone else on here uses him, maybe Kitkat? Not sure. But yes, we do!

I'm pretty sure he has rights at LIJ. I gave birth at Winthrop though

Nope, he's with NCMC and Winthrop and South Nassau. Maybe Mercy too but not NSUH or LIJ.

I wonder if at some point he was with LIJ b/c I do remember them telling me I could go there. When I first started using him they said he wasn't going to be at Mercy anymore or something b/c they were no longer going to have a peds unit.

DS has an appt next week, I'm going to have to ask where they are affiliated just out of curiosity b/c on my ins website it says Winthrop, New Island, LIJ and Mercy. I'm curious just incase.
