Re: Dr. Hanauer people
She is my doctor and she delivered my son in 2005. I am glad I am not going to TTC yet for at least another year. She is so wonderful and now she has a ton of new patients. I wonder how one woman can do it all! Maybe next year she will be less busy! I swear there should be copies made of her! I love her and actually look forward to my yearly appt. I miss her when I am not pregnant because I looked forward to seeing her every month!

Re: Dr. Hanauer people
I just switched to her recently since my doctor (who she used to work with!) sold his practice.
It is very early but I have not had any problems seeing her so far.
She told me that they would not call me for result of tests unless there was a problem, etc... She also told me that I was free to call at anytime if I wanted to hear about the results or had any questions.
Honestly, I don't blame them. That would be so much to keep up with.

Re: Dr. Hanauer people
But is it hard getting appointments when you need them or is it just whenever they have available?
Is the wait very long each visit?
I mean I know most ob's have a wait and an hour wait to me is normal if theres an Emergency or something, but is it longer etc?

For regular visits not PG related, yes sometimes I would have to wait several weeks. Since becoming PG I have not had any problem getting an appointment for anything. And I have been back there a few times already in the past 3 weeks.
Depending on the time of day there can be a wait. It is usually because she will let he patients talk to her until they feel like they are 100% up to speed. She is very attentive. The longest wait I ever had was for a 5:30 appointment. I did not get seen until 6:30.
Her staff is also really nice & very efficient, which I am sure helps her keep things moving at a good pace.

Re: Dr. Hanauer people
She will squeeze you in for your monthly appt no matter what - thing is Thursday nights are her only after work hours so I am in the waiting room for at least 1 hour and 15 minutes every time. But I love her and don't mind it. I have seen her every single appointment except for 2 when she wanted me to meet Dr. Dolisi, in case he had to deliver by baby. My only concern is will she be available to deliver my baby being so busy. I'm hoping I go into labor in the middle of the night.

Re: Dr. Hanauer people
I absolutely love her....I have never waited more than a half hour to see her. Even if I HAD to wait it would be totally worth the wait she is so amazing and her staff is so friendly I had a different Dr with my first 2 pregnancies and I have to say it makes a HUGE HUGE difference when you have a doctor you like and who tereats you like a person and knows your name and acts happy to see you and doesnt treat you like just another patient
