Dr. Hanauer and Dolisi Patients Quick ???
Is it me or is the lady who takes the sonograms there horrific? I find her to be so nasty and she is terrible at her job! Have you had any pleasant experiences with any of your sonograms there?

SIL used that practice and if I remember correctly, she said similar things about the sonogram tech!

Dr. Hanauer and Dolisi Patients Quick ???
She has a tough outer shell--but once I mentioned something about hockey and it got her talking about her son and how he plays hockey and she was somewhat normal.
I have more of a problem with the nasty woman at the front desk!

I definitely have noticed the tough outer shell and it's not even that that bothers me! I just think she has terrible bedside manner! Shouldn't a 32 week sono last longer than 3 seconds? When a 2 and 4 year old are in the room, wouldn't it be nice if she could have pointed out a leg or an arm? And for goodness sakes, help a preggo to sit up from the table! lol! I never find anyone at the front desk to be nasty but that's just as horrible of an experience!!

There are two of them. The older lady didn't have a bed side manner with one of my sonos but did with another (I needed a few extra ones). The younger one was nice :)

I agree with the sonogram tech comment. When I had my miscarriage the first time she was AWFUL!!!! I found it odd that she was the one that told me anyway, she should have told the doctor and had them tell me, right? Anyway, with my 2nd and 3rd pregnancy she was better but as a pp said, it was because we spoke about her family. That opened/warmed her up a bit.

The ladies at the front desk don't make eye contact with me. I find them annoying and rude but to be honest, I find that in most doctor's offices.

I switched to them a few months ago and she can be tough. Over time she does warm up.

Not sure why anyone would stay with this practice? The dr should be notified of the technician taking the sonograms. Her attitude should not be allowed in the office or anyone office. I hope you find a better office.

I left their office after I had my son. The whole practice was horrendous imo. I still don't understand why they are so popular.

I think they are popular because of the doctors. I find Dr. Hanauer and Dr. Dolisi to be kind, caring, knowledgeable and I trust that they know what they are doing. I don't need anyone to kiss my arse so the tough exterior on a sono tech or a cold office staff doesn't bother me, however, I will be complaining about the sono tech who is terrible at her job. Noone said a sono tech has to be warm and fuzzy but they should understand that they are one of the best links a mother has between her and her unborn child. I think sono techs in a obgyn office should always go above and beyond to make every mom's sonogram experience an amazing one.

IMO, the doctor's are the most important of the practice and I loved all the doctor's and physician's assts I have met.

I am actually going there today for a sonogram as I just had a miscarriage, and given what an emotional wreck i am I made sure to request NOT to get the blonde woman for the sonogram - the younger brunette, Diana, I like, but the blonde is awful and I could just imagined me going crazy on her if she said the wrong thing to me while I'm going through this. I felt the same way my last pregnancy, I found her rude and she never told us what she was looking at or anything, just awful.
I love Kerry and the other NP and they have been so wonderful to me throughout this process so I'm still happy with them. The doctors are great.
