Dr George patients- ? About calling dr on call
Do they call you back?
I called and they gave a # for the dr on call. I called that # (different peds ofc) and haven't received a call back.
I need to know if I can give my DD allergy meds and dosage. I can't go to a pm ped place because I'm alone with both babies and I know it's just allergies anyway. I'm ready to go ask Doogie Houser the pharmacist at my CVS (he's like 12 years old this guy). Idk if a pharm will even give me dosage or tell me to call my dr. She is only 14 lbs and everything I see is for 17 lbs plus. The poor thing is miserable and just keeps crying, coughing, sneezing. :(

hello! I just called them thursday night and the doctor on call was Dr. George. The call went right through and I was able to speak with him. I've had to call the on-call doc a few times and never had to leave a message. You called today? Maybe its because of the holiday?
Sorry you are waiting, I know how stressful that can be. But if it makes you feel better that hasn't been my experience.
I hope your baby feels better!!

They finally called me back and told me the same info I got in 2 seconds from calling my sisters ped. So I got the wrong stuff and now have to go pack both (crying) babies up for Benedryl. Dh went to work and I have to take them. I don't really want to have to take DD into pollen but whatever. I've kept windows closed for her. I'm so mad.

So sorry your little girls is not well. I called the dr on call once when baby b smashed her eye on the counter top. I made the call to take her to the hospital he called me back 5 min after I called. And agreed with my decision

Complain. That's ridiculous. I've dealt with 4 different offices who were on call. They all called me back within 5 minutes. The only problem I had was that one of the pediatricians was a rude witch. I could not believe the way she spoke to me. I was furious. I wish I could remember her name.

This wasn't one of their doctors on call. It was another ped office. I want to say Babylon Village?
And she is a million times better with the benedryl so Im really pissed she had to suffer most of the day yesterday.

Same with me. It was a doc from another practice.
Glad your DD is feeling better but I agree it's terrible she had to suffer as long as she did because you didn't get a call back.
