DR. G. San Roman patients?
Does anyone know what happened to Dr. White. I called to the make an appointment and she is no longer there, no explanation nothing.

really? I had no idea, come to think of it I saw her a couple of months ago for a prenatal appointment and I have since only seen Dr. Gus, Michelle or Susan, I have not seen Dr. White again. I am curious now myself.

I really liked her, she was my main ob, san roman did my csec but I rarely saw him. Now they have another dr. not sure who he is because I never met him.

Dr White left the beginning of October. She went back to queens to work. I was there on her last day. The new dr does not deliver babies anymore. He is only a GYN now.

wow, i did not know any of this, you would think I have been going there every 2 weeks since 24 weeks I would have heard something LOL. I guess because Dr. Gus is my main OB so if he wasn't available I would just take whoever was so I never questioned where Dr. White was.

it makes me nervous too, I ended up needing monitoring 2 weeks ago at St. Charles and Michelle Mayer, the nurse midwife was on call - Dr. San Roman was away for the weekend. I basically told him recently not to make any plans around my due date because I will pick him up on the way to the hospital if I had too LOL, in all honesty, I believe Michelle is his backup if he is not available.

I am having a schedule c-sec so I know Michelle won't be able to do that if he isn't around. I really love the practice so I hope they get someone good to cover him, I really don't want to move somewhere else.

Michelle would. She delivered DS and DD. I love her! If you are having a scheduled C. I'm sure he would be around for that as per the date.

This is my major concern. I am going to ask next week at my appointment. I just don't know if I want to risk having some unknown person showing up and doing my csec.

Dr San Roman delivered my daughter but he wasn't my reg ob. I ended up seeing a diff dr everytime i went to them. Dr. Lograno was actually supposed to deliver her but my labor was long and his shift ended so San Roman was the dr who came on. I am not sure about c sections but i know with natural delivery, suffolk obgyn is whomever is the on call dr at the hospital is the delivering dr. my reg dr was always stritnatter until i got preggo and never saw him in the whole 9mos. I guess you can request certain appt for visits w/dr but my sched was always so crazy i took whomever was avail.

oh ok, you are talking about the other Dr. San Roman (they are brothers) with Suffolk OB/GYN who delivers at St. charles too, the other posters and I see dr. Gus San Roman who is now the only Dr. who delivers in his practice.

When I was pregnant both Dr. White and Dr. San ROman were going on vacation at the same time, they said that Dr. Erhardt would be covering for them, so maybe that's who it is now?
